Fuel Efficiency At Its Best

If you’re looking to save time and money at the gas pump, then you’ve come to the right place.

How are Ford models so fuel efficient?

Wanting more details on how the EcoBoost® generates its power? The EcoBoost® uses three primary technologies when it's under the hood of your Ford: turbocharging, direct fuel injection, variable camshaft timing. The turbocharger in the EcoBoost® uses the force of excess exhaust to push more air into the engine for more power, energy that would have been otherwise wasted in a conventional engine. By precisely measuring the amount of fuel entering the engine at any given time, controlling the intake and exhaust valves to match engine speed and load, and the lightweight design of the turbocharger means your EcoBoost® engine can truly do it all.

Ford Hybrid Lineup

For 2021, Ford has certainly stepped up to the challenge of engineering truly efficient cars, trucks and SUVs. Their hybrid lineup is largely made up of engine types that can be paired with select vehicles within their lineup, like the available PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6 engine for the redesigned Ford F-150. But no matter which Ford vehicle you decide to drive home, you’ll be choosing a model that’s been designed with the environment in mind.
