Comprehensive Multipoint Inspection

We don't just hand out certification to any used model that passes through our lot. It must pass a multipoint inspection performed by our expert team right here in our service center. We check items such as tire tread depth, engine performance, battery life and even the quality of the interior upholstery. If all boxes are checked and the vehicle is up to our strict standards, the used model moves onto the next step. If not, we place the model through a reconditioning process.

Reconditioning Process

It's not a big deal if the used model requires a part replacement or a minor repair — our technicians aren't worried about a chipped windshield, overdue oil change or fabric tear. We'll order and replace the damaged part with one from our OEM inventory, installing it for optimal performance and function. Any mechanical issues will be resolved with care, and if the interior needs a good cleaning and stitching, our technicians will get to work to ensure perfection. Once we know every part has been repaired, the model will go through our inspection once again.

Let's say the used model under Cooper Certified Used consideration passes the inspection and reconditioning process — what's next? The model must produce a clean CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™!
